Kislyak predicted complex relations between Russia and the United States

Former Russian Ambassador to the U.S. Sergey Kislyak in a brief interview with CNN, he told about his vision of relations between the two countries in the future, and again denied allegations that is the ” spy.”

The correspondent of TV channel “caught” the Russian diplomat when he got out of the car, and immediately began to ask questions. Kislyak noted that he had arrived in Russia, ” to talk with the Russian people,” but did not deny him an interview.

The former Ambassador, however, refused to comment on the journalist’s question about what Kislyak before the end of their powers trying to build a secret channel of communication between Washington and Moscow at a meeting with the American President son-in-law Jared Kushner.

“I have said many times that we don’t discuss the conversations with our American partners. Out of respect for him,” said Kislyak.

Also, the diplomat called nonsense statement by the journalist that he allegedly is the “master of espionage”. In addition, the former Ambassador gave an assessment of the future of relations between Russia and the United States.

“I’m afraid they will be difficult. Not our fault, but because of the dynamics of American politics,” — said Kislyak.

According to him, sanctions are an instrument of Washington, whereas in fact we are talking about anti-Russian position.

“They (the laws on sanctions. — “Газета.Ru”) will themselves do not disappear, they remain, and will spoil the opportunity for normalization of relations of both countries. And the normalization of our relations is exactly what is missing,” concluded Kislyak.

Earlier, Russia’s new Ambassador to USA was appointed Anatoly Antonov.
