In India 14 people were killed during protests by supporters of the guru-rapist

In India as a result of mass protests that erupted after the court sentenced guru-molester, has killed at least 14 people. About it reports Reuters.

The reason for the riots was the verdict rendered by the court of Panchkula (Haryana) in respect of guru Gurmit Rama Rahim Singh, who was accused of raping two women who were in his cult. In anticipation of the verdict, crowds of followers Rahim Singh came out to the streets of cities in the States of Punjab and Haryana.

After the court found guru guilty, cultists started pogroms: they attacked the station buildings, torched gas stations and turned the cars film crews of television. They demanded to reconsider the sentence and release him. Major clashes occurred in Panchkula, where police dispersed the crowd using special techniques.
