The militants beheaded nine Libyan soldiers

The militants of the terrorist group “Islamic state” (IG, is prohibited in Russia) attacked a checkpoint of the Libyan national army (LNA), 500 kilometers South of the capital, Tripoli. It is reported by News 24.

“The militants beheaded nine soldiers and two civilians,” said Colonel LNA Ahmad al-Mesmari.

On 25 July it was reported that the LDF soldiers executed 20 people suspected of involvement in ISIS activities. The massacre was led by Mahmud of Verbali — the commander of special forces in the army of Marshal Belkacem of the Caliph Haftarot.

On the same day, two leading political forces in Libya agreed to a truce. The agreement was signed by head of the national consensus government of Libya Faiz Sarraj and the commander of the Libyan national army, field Marshal Khalifa Haftar.
