Throughout the Rostov region from-for a fire in Rostov-on-don introduced a state of emergency. This decision, as RIA Novosti reported, took the head EMERCOM of Russia Vladimir Puchkov.
“Introduce a state of emergency throughout the territory of the Rostov region. This is an emergency situation of Federal level”, — said the Minister during the meeting of the working group of governmental Commission on prevention and liquidation of emergency situations.
Earlier, emergency mode was introduced in the regional center.
The fire in Rostov-na-Donu took place on Monday, August 21. Fire engulfed several private houses on Theatrical descent, and then spread to the neighboring streets and alleys. The fire area reached ten thousand square meters.
To extinguish the fire was connected with several helicopters and a boat. Inhabitants of nearby houses evacuated. The fire damaged the 107 buildings, including 83 residential buildings.
According to preliminary data, medical assistance 45 people, seven of them were hospitalized.
