Putin pardoned former Director of the mine, where 110 people were killed

Former Director of the mine “Ulyanovsk” Andrew Funk pardoned by the decree of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. The corresponding document was published on the official Internet portal of legal information.

“Pardon funka Andrei Ivanovich born in 1973, convicted on March 31, 2015 district court of Novokuznetsk of the Kemerovo region, freeing him from further punishment in the form of imprisonment”, — the document says.

The decree will enter into force on 27 August. March 19, 2007 in the Ulyanovskaya mine in Novokuznetsk, there was an explosion of methane-air mixture and coal dust. In the incident, which killed 110 miners. Only in the case of the explosion were six people.
