In the terrorist attack in Barcelona suspected the Imam of the local mosque
The Imam of the mosque in the Catalan town of Ripoll is suspected of involvement in preparing a terrorist attack in Barcelona. He disappeared two months ago, and presumably died in the explosion at the base of the militants.
According to the newspaper El Pais, the Imam of Abdelbaki as-Satti was the Imam of a mosque in the town of Ripoll, where the sermon was attended by about 500 people — mostly natives of Morocco. His alleged remains were discovered on the site of the building where participants in the terrorist attack in Barcelona have kept the explosives.
In this presentation AC, Satti had no relation to radical Islam. However, two months ago he suddenly left Ripoll. The neighbors suggested that he could go to Belgium, which was visited several times. According to one version it was there that he came into contact with radical Islamists and may have been one of the organizers of the attack on Barcelona.
According to the newspaper, the police conducted a search in the apartment as-Satti, however, did not find in it any evidence of his involvement in the attack.
