The electric motorcycles “IZH” for traffic police
The Ministry of defence has begun testing electric motorcycles produced by the concern “Kalashnikov”. In an interview with TASS said the General Director of the company Alexey Krivoruchko.
According to him, “Kalashnikov” will produce motorcycles of different models and classes, but will focus on the electrical. They will be showcased at the forum “Army-2017” in the Park “Patriot”.
Krivoruchko said that it is not only the development of the electric range. “Electric motors are the future, we understand that, so in the near future something to announce,” said he.
The CEO added that the motorcycles are made with reference to the civilian market. So, earlier it was shown the electric motorcycles for the police.
Video presentation of electric motorcycles “IZH”, designed for road patrol and inspection services, was published on the page of the Kalashnikov concern in Facebook earlier in August. It was assumed that the samples will be sent to the Metropolitan police for testing at the end of August.
The maximum power of motorcycles is 15 kilowatts, the power reserve on a single charge up to 150 kilometers.
