OK and VK have given users the option to report that they’re safe
Immediately after the attack in the capital of Catalonia “Classmates” and “Vkontakte” have included a function that allowed users located or resident in Barcelona, to inform their relatives that they are safe.
OK the app allows you to check whether friends and family, set the status to the page to write a message without leaving the app and learn emergency phone numbers. The application runs in the mobile and web versions of the social network.
Social network “Vkontakte” also warned users about the emergency in Barcelona. Alerting was targetirovanie from co-ordinates and IP addresses to 7 thousand people.
In order to tell friends and acquaintances that they are safe, the users of “Vkontakte” in Barcelona we need to answer “Yes” to the relevant email sent by the social network. Then, the page of the person will automatically be posted an entry with the text “I’m all right.”
