Nuclear submarine of the Northern fleet conducted shooting missiles “Caliber” in the Barents sea

Multipurpose nuclear submarine (NPS) of the Northern fleet Severodvinsk carried out a successful firing a cruise missile of sea basing “Caliber”. It is reported TASS with reference to the press service of the Northern fleet.

The missile launch was made from the Barents sea on range Chizha in the Arkhangelsk region. Distance from the start to the target was about 600 km. “According to objective control, the shooting was done with a given accuracy and confirmation of all flight and technical parameters”, — said the representative of the fleet.

As reported, the Ministry of defense, for the second quarter of 2017, enterprises of the military-industrial complex (MIC) put the troops more than 600 new and refurbished 300 weapons, including 60 cruise missiles “Caliber”.
