The defense Ministry received the right to make decisions about land reservation and withdrawal of land plots for construction and renovation of military facilities.
The corresponding decree was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“[The defense Ministry] takes the limits of its competence on reservation and withdrawal of land plots for the state needs of the Russian Federation for construction and reconstruction of objects of defence,” — said in the text of the decree.
Also, according to the document, the defense Ministry received the right to issue permits for the construction and commissioning of objects of defense and security, members of the Armed forces and Regardie Russia.
The decree comes into force from the date of signing.
In March of this year, Putin allowed the FSO to withdraw land plots for state needs. The same powers in may received the FSB.
