Ulyukayev said that before the beginning of the trial reads Chekhov

Former Minister of economic development Alexei Ulyukayev said that before the meeting in Zamosvorechye the court reads the work of Anton Chekhov.

The speaker stopped in the hall and opened the tablet. The journalist asked the former official that he is studying before the meeting.

“Chekhov read and advise you. Chekhov — the great Russian writer,” — said Ulyukayev. “The story “Murder” called”, he added.

Preliminary hearings on the case speaker began on 8 August. Zamoskvoretsky the court extended the ex-Minister of house arrest until 27 January. Ulyukayev told reporters that he did not recognize his guilt.

On 27 July the Prosecutor General’s office approved the indictment on criminal case the former head of Ministry of economic development, accused of receiving a bribe in especially large amount (part 6, item 290 UKR).

Criminal filed November 15, 2016. After the detention of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin has removed the speaker from office in connection with loss of trust.

According to investigators, the former head of Ministry of economic development demanded money from the representative of “Rosneft” for giving a positive opinion in respect of the acquisition of state-owned shares “Bashneft”.

Earlier it was reported that the ex-Minister was detained when receiving a bribe of $2 million.
