Former Minister of economic development Alexei Ulyukayev demanded that the CEO of “Rosneft” Igor Sechin to pay him a bribe of $2 million during their stay at the BRICS summit in Goa, said the Prosecutor in court, the correspondent of RBC.
According to the prosecution, otherwise, the Minister threatened not to agree on the acquisition by Rosneft of a controlling stake of the company “Bashneft”.
“Sechin is really perceiving a threat to the speaker, agreed to his illegal demands,” said the Prosecutor.
Itself the speaker called the matter in which he is accused of extortion, provocation, organized by the FSB and personally Sechin.
“I must say that the transfer amount was planned by the FSB. Sechin called me under the pretext of discussing Affairs of the Corporation and was persuaded to come to Rosneft, where he handed me the money,” added the former Minister.
