Russia plans to transfer the Kazakhstan part of the lake in the Novosibirsk region

NOVOSIBIRSK, August 15. /TASS/. Russia plans to transfer the Kazakhstan part of the Sweet lake near the village of Pokrovka in the Kupinsky district of Novosibirsk region. Earlier, the state border ran along the water of the lake, now it wants to move to the Russian coast, but the files has not yet been signed, told TASS head of the district Vladimir Shubnikov.

“The intention is there (to change the border – approx. TASS), but it should be noted that while the process of changing the boundaries is not concluded, documents not signed,” – said Shubnikov.

He said that the existing boundary established about 20 years ago. It passes through the water of the lake, move is planned for the East Russian coast. Thus, the entire lake will be Sweet Kazakhstan.
