Every sixth resident of the Russian Federation considers itself to be secured

The share of Russians who believe their financial situation is good, peaked in the last five years.

In may 2017, secured called themselves 17% of Russian citizens, which is 5 percentage points higher than a year earlier.

These data are presented in the HSE study “the Population of Russia in 2017: revenues, expenditures, and social well-being”.

Experts believe that this figure is nice and predict its further growth, however, emphasize that in Europe and the U.S. the number of wealthy population and a lot more.

In addition, slightly decreased the number of Russians who call themselves poor. This group of the population identified themselves 20% of the study participants, which was 1 p. p. less than six months ago.
