The head of Ingushetia, Yunus-Bek Yevkurov at the closing ceremony of the international Army games handed the keys to the car UAZ “Patriot” Russian crew who won competitions in “Tank biathlon”. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
The Russians won the final race with a total time of 1 hour 30 minutes 43 seconds. In second place — the team of Kazakhstan with a score of 1 hour and 45 minutes, 41 seconds. The bronze went to the representatives of the people’s liberation army of China, overcame the distance in 1 hour 46 minutes and 50 seconds. The crews of armored vehicles had to demonstrate mastery in overcoming obstacles and shooting at targets.
Spectacular competition, held in the framework of the international Army games, kicked off at the Alabino on July 29. Semifinal races were held on 8-10 August. On their own vehicles are three teams: the Russian (T-72B3 with additional improvements), Belarusian (T-72БМЭ), Indian (T-90S) and Chinese (Type 96B). The rest is provided by the standard Russian T-72B3.
