In the Georgian interior Ministry has denied recent media information about the conversation the head of the Agency Giorgi mghebrishvili with the Russian pranker Vovan and Lexus concerning the extradition of the former President Mikhail Saakashvili. On Sunday, August 13, reports “Interfax”.

The Ministry noted that to allow the possibility of such a conversation on an unsecured telephone “in General, not serious.”

Earlier media with reference to the words of Lexus has released information that the former President called the mghebrishvili, who allegedly was on vacation and was drunk, on behalf of his Ukrainian colleagues Arseniy Avakov and offered assistance in the extradition of former Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili, against which the homeland of several criminal cases. It was reported that the Minister refused obscenely from this perspective, then consulted with the Prime Minister, Giorgi Kvirikashvili and gave him a request: “If possible, do not send us this dirtbag.”

Earlier it became known about the call Vova and Lexus to Saakashvili. A politician who thought that talking to the Deputy head of administration of the President of Petro Poroshenko, has put the Kyiv authorities ultimatum: either he return the Ukrainian citizenship, or “they will not find it”.

July 26, Saakashvili was deprived of Ukrainian citizenship. The reason was incorrect information in the questionnaire (he did not mention criminal cases against him, filed in Georgia). The politician at the time was in the USA. He later on declined to Ukrainian passport visited several other countries. At the time of the conversation with the former President of the former Odessa Governor was in Hungary.

Saakashvili held a post of the Governor of Odessa region from may 2015 to November 2016. After that, he resigned. In the years 2004-2013 he was the President of Georgia. In the home country, the policy deprived of citizenship and brought against him several criminal cases, including embezzlement.
