MOSCOW, August 13. /TASS/. Syrian troops and militia backed by Russian aviation by Sunday morning, completely liberated the city of es-Sohne, which opens the way for release of Deir ez-Zor. This was reported in the defense Ministry.
“August 13, 2017 as a result of joint actions of the aviation of Russian air force, units of government troops and militias in the East of the province of HOMS is completely liberated from the militants ISIL (former name “Islamic state” banned in Russia – approx. TASS) es-Sohne”, – stated in the message Department.
