Shoigu called on international organizations to carry humanitarian aid to Syria

MOSCOW, August 13. /TASS/. Russia expects from international organizations of humanitarian aid for the people of Syria, said the head of the defense Ministry Sergei Shoigu, the TV channel “Russia 24”.

“Today we say: “In zones of de-escalation [help] bring, everything is open. If you can’t take, we’ll bring it.” But we can’t be mom and dad. So of course they will need support from humanitarian organizations, United Nations”, – he said.

Shoigu added that the joint work of Russia and the international humanitarian organizations will lead to the stabilization of the situation of refugees. “Go on the return of refugees to their homes inside of Syria, what is happening now and then from other regions”, – the Minister added.

According to the head of the defense Ministry, the completion of the fight against terrorists in Syria, “largely” is to say the release of the Deir ez-Zor, which has been several years besieged by militants of the “Islamic state” (a group banned in Russia).
