YAKUTSK, August 12. /TASS/. The brother of one of the miners remaining underground mine “Mir” in Yakutia, has reviewed the progress of search and rescue operations, said on Saturday the press service of the company “ALROSA”.

“The brother of one of those underground miners Alexey Maryin, expressing disbelief during search and rescue operations, accusing its organizers of concealing information, today, 2.5 hours spent in the mine. He went down into the ground at 8:30 (local time, 02:30 GMT — approx. TASS), along with search and rescue group of the morning shift consisting of 22 people rescuers and the miners-volunteers,” — said in a statement.

As noted in to ALROSA, after that Marin told local media that the participants of the operation “doing everything I can”.

Earlier it was reported that on August 12 continues demolition debris on the horizon minus 210 meters, at this level organized underground base. In the mine around the clock for six to eight hour work shifts of the rescuers in average of 60-80 people.

The accident at the mine “Mir” occurred on 4 August. As a result of breakthrough of water from the quarry there was a flooding of the mine, where at the time of the incident there were 151 people. On the same day were evacuated 142, next of mine got another employee. The fate of eight miners remains unknown.
