More than 30 people became victims of floods and landslides in Nepal

TASS, August 12. More than 30 people were killed last night in Nepal in floods and landslides that resulted hit the country with heavy rain. On Saturday, Reuters reports with reference to the authorities of that state.

Local authorities have organized in schools and office buildings temporary shelters for people who were forced to leave their homes. A rescue team consisting of military, police and local residents have blocked the rescue on rooftops and on hills.

It is also noted that because of the disaster a failure has occurred in the airport of Biratnagar, located in the South-East of Nepal.
