The head of Primorye dismissed suspect in the abuse of authority of Deputy

The head of Primorsky Krai Vladimir Miklushevsky was removed from the post of Vice-Governor of the region Evgeny Vishnyakov, a suspect in the abuse of power. On Thursday, August 10, RIA Novosti reported citing a source in the regional administration.

“The Governor signed the order,” — said the Agency interlocutor. He added that Vishnyakov dismissed at his own request.

27 July it became known that the court has arrested Vishnyakova for a month and 15 days (until September 10). Concerning it criminal case as regards 2 articles 286 of the criminal code of Russian Federation (“Excess of powers of office”). The day before his arrest, his office, and also previously supervised the Department of energy were searched.

On the same day was arrested the head of the Ussuriysk Eugene Korzh. According to the source, he entered into a plea agreement and is now under house arrest. In the basic version, the prosecution of both suspects related to irregularities in the construction of the district under the Ussuri.

Vishnyakov was appointed Deputy Governor in February 2015. Prior to that, he held the posts of Vice-Governor of Zabaykalsky Krai and the Deputy Prime Minister from the same region, has long worked in the “Rosatom”.

In Primorye Vishnyakov dealt with issues of housing and communal services, fuel and energy complex, tariff, public housing oversight, natural resource management, environmental protection and forestry.
