The request of the Russian companies on the stability goes to the periphery and is replaced by a request for a change. This opinion was expressed by General Director of the Russian center for public opinion studies (VTSIOM) Valery Fedorov at the youth forum “Territory meanings on the Klyazma”, reports TASS on Tuesday, August 8.

According to him, as the economic crisis in the country has ended, but large-scale lift has not yet arrived, the Russians feel insecurity. Fyodorov said that this is dangerous because “revolutionary sentiments do not appear in a situation of crisis and when the crisis is over and getting better.”

“Then people stop suffering and start to demand”, — said the head of VTSIOM.

Today the political struggle in Russia, according to Fedorov, “goes for something whose way of change will prevail”. “That’s the struggle for the future now unfolding, and soon it will move into the final phase, because in six months we have presidential elections. Moreover, the issue of elections in 2024, too, will be largely predetermined the outcome of the election of 2018”, — he concluded.

The Russian presidential election to be held on 18 March 2018. The head of state elected for six-year terms. About his presidential ambitions in a different time, said opposition leader Alexei Navalny, the leader of LDPR Vladimir Zhirinovsky, the leader of the party “Yabloko” Grigory Yavlinsky and others. Current President Vladimir Putin has not yet reported, will participate in the elections.
