In Pakistan a suicide bomber blew up an army patrol

In Northwest Pakistan a suicide bomber blew up an army patrol. About it reports Reuters.

The incident occurred in district Upper dir of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Intelligence received information that there were terrorists, and then in the dir were deployed army units. During the search operation one militant blew himself up, killing an officer and three soldiers.

“Every drop of blood of our heroes is proof that we are a nation committed to the clean our beloved homeland from terrorist elements,” reads the statement by the Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahid Hakan Abbasi.

Army operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was launched in July 2017. The military are engaged in heavy clashes with militants of the Pakistani Taliban and groups associated with the banned in Russia organization “Islamic state” (IG).
