MOSCOW, 8 Aug. /TASS/. The Russian team became the winner of competition “War rally” that took place within the international Army games – 2017, the second place took the team of Egypt is the only foreign participant of the competition. This was reported to journalists by the Deputy Russian defense Minister army General Dmitry Bulgakov.
“In all three phases of the “war rally” team VS Russia showed the best results and deservedly became the winner of the competition. Nothing from our military drivers I did not expect, because it is the best representatives of the profession, have passed a severe selection across the Armed forces,” – said Bulgakov.
“Have adequately acted and command of the armed forces of Egypt, for the first time participated in the “Military rally” and took second place. Both the Russian and the Egyptian military drivers successfully coped with the harsh conditions of off-road with a total length of 1,700 km, 40 degree heat and difficult special stage on the route Elista – Volgograd, with a length of 280 km,” – said the Deputy Minister.
