The Ministry of education has called 15 favorite books the Russians

The Ministry of education and science of the Russian Federation held a rally #Maglalang, in which the Russian-speaking social media users asked to tell about their favorite books.

The rally, which was attended by over five thousand people, began in July and lasted a month. Based on the recommendations of readers, the Ministry has compiled the TOP 15 books.

First place on the bookshelf of the majority of users took the novel of Mikhail Bulgakov “Master and Margarita”. With a small margin of the product is series by JK Rowling about Harry Potter. Third place went to the dystopia of ray Bradbury “451 degrees Fahrenheit”.

Immediately behind the top three followed by “War and peace” Leo Tolstoy, “the Little Prince” by Antoine de Saint-exupĂ©ry’s “Three comrades” by Erich Maria Remarque.

The top ten also includes “Crime and punishment” by Fyodor Dostoevsky, “Robinson Crusoe” Daniel Defoe, “Pride and prejudice” by Jane Austen and “Two captains” by Veniamin Kaverin.

The rating of the most popular among Russian readers of the works of “Jane Eyre” Charlotte Bronte, “Eugene Onegin” by Alexander Pushkin, “gone with the wind” Margaret Mitchell, “Anna Karenina” by Leo Tolstoy and “the captain’s daughter” by Alexander Pushkin.
