Tillerson Lavrov explained why Russia’s retaliatory measures to U.S. sanctions
Before taking this decision, the Moscow waited long enough that Washington will not follow the path of confrontation, said the Minister.
MANILA, August 6 — RIA Novosti. The Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov said that US Secretary of state Rex Tillerson met with him raised the question of the response of Moscow on anti-Russian sanctions and received clarification.
A Ministerial meeting was held on the sidelines of the activities of the ASEAN in Manila.
“He was interested in, first of all, he started from the details of those decisions that were taken by us in response to the adopted law with the anti-Russian sanctions in the U.S. Congress. We gave these explanations — in fact, this was done on the basis of the interview of Vladimir Putin to the channel “Russia”.
