Moscow is outraged that the UN security Council condemned the shelling of the Russian Embassy in Damascus, these actions will only encourage terrorists to new provocations and attacks, the commentary said Russian foreign Ministry.
Second Aug complex of the Russian Embassy in Damascus came under mortar fire from the positions of militants of the terrorist gangs. While two shells fell on the territory of the Russian Embassy, two more exploded in the vicinity of the outer perimeter of the overseas missions. As clarified in the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, “by a lucky chance done without victims, there is very little material damage”.
“The failure to exercise diplomatic solidarity with us, let them remain on the conscience of those delegations. Worst of all is the fact that the Security Council’s failure to condemn the acts of terrorists encourages them to new provocations and attacks, gives them the feeling of impunity. I would not want to have these barbarians were created by the belief that someone in the Security Council with them,” — said in the comments of the Ministry.
