MANILA, 6 Aug. /TASS/. The Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov will hold on Monday, August 7, in Manila meeting with foreign Minister Taro Kono. This was reported by TASS source in the Russian delegation participating in the activities of ASEAN.
“The meeting of the foreign Ministers of Russia and Japan will be held on Monday,” – said the Agency interlocutor.
This will be the first meeting of Lavrov with Taro Kono, who was appointed to the post of Minister of foreign Affairs of Japan this week.
The Russian foreign Minister arrived Sunday in the capital of the Philippines, to participate in the activities of ASEAN. Lavrov has already held a number of bilateral meetings, including with the foreign Ministers of Turkey, China, and the US Secretary of Rex Tillerson.
