Ten EU countries have entered the red danger level due to the heat wave

MOSCOW, Aug 5 — RIA Novosti. Ten European States have entered the red danger level due to the heat wave, according to the European network of meteorological services Eumetnet.

According to the service, at the moment, extreme weather conditions recorded in Italy, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Hungary, Romania, Poland, Switzerland and Slovenia.

The authorities of Spain, France, Greece, Macedonia and Bulgaria entered the orange danger level. In some areas of the States, the thermometer reached 40 degrees.

According to the newspaper the Guardian, at least two people were killed due to abnormal weather conditions in Romania and Poland, dozens more hospitalized. It is expected that a new wave of heat will last until Wednesday.
