KYIV, 5 August. /TASS/. “The plan interception” because of the assumption that the ex-President of Georgia and former Governor of the Odessa region Mikhail Saakashvili, previously deprived of Ukrainian citizenship, returned to the country, was announced last night by the security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and border guards on the border with Poland. This was reported on Saturday, the Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada and a member of the party “Movement of new forces of Mikhail Saakashvili” Yuriy Derevyanko.
“On the border with Poland, was announced the plan interception because of the assumption that Saakashvili is returned. The border with Poland artificially blocked” — wrote the MP in Facebook adding that “it happened at the checkpoint “Krakovets” on direct orders from the administration of President [Petro Poroshenko]”.
According to Derevyanko, the vehicle is heavily inspected. “Looking in the trunk of Saakashvili. This farce has caused many kilometers of traffic jams”, — said the MP. As told by Derevyanko, the guards used a special device for blocking car traffic. And although the checkpoint was empty, according to the Deputy, people were forced to stand in a queue for several kilometres. At this time, according to Derevyanko, the machine guards were combing the fields around the customs in search of Saakashvili.
