The Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov discussed by telephone with U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson the situation around the DPRK after the recent rocket launch by Pyongyang, said the Russian foreign Ministry.
“The interlocutors exchanged views on the situation on the Korean Peninsula in the context of the formulation of the reaction of the UN security Council for a missile launch by Pyongyang on July 28. Lavrov called on those involved in the opposition sides to show restraint and a speedy resumption of the negotiation process. Addressed some other pressing international and regional problems,” the report said.
