Counsel for the Teacher asked Chaika to check the legality of the statements against “Matilda”
The representative of the Director Alexey Uchitel, Konstantin Dobrynin has asked Prosecutor General Yury Chaika to check compliance of the application against the film “Matilda”. The lawyer asks to arrange a test in connection with the fact that “the exercise by citizens of the right to appeal does not violate the rights and freedoms of others”.
In addition, Dobrynin calls “charging the detection in the audit of the statements containing signs of obviously false denunciation about the alleged Commission of the creators of the film “Matilda” illegal acts, to take measures on attraction of each of the authors of such statements to criminal liability for the offence committed.”
The lawyer also asks “to take measures of prosecutorial response to persons who may be organized in the direction of the General Prosecutor of the Russian Federation, anonymous, falsified containing false information, and other pre – “staged” hits”.
The applicants lawyer Oksana mikhalkina said that hundreds of Orthodox already asked the Prosecutor General to check the creators of the film “Matilda” on insulting the feelings of believers and to appeal to the court demanding to ban the screening of the film. According to her, complain of the want film of several tens of thousands of believers.
