The state Department did not confirm that the approved delivery of weapons of Ukraine
WASHINGTON, Aug 3 — RIA Novosti. The state Department did not confirm the publication of the fact that the Agency has approved the delivery of weapons to Ukraine, told reporters, state Department spokesman Heather Nauert.
“I can’t confirm that. We had no idea of defensive weapons, but did not rule out such a possibility, this possibility is still being considered”, — said Nauert reporters at a briefing.
Earlier, the Wall Street Journal, citing U.S. officials reported that the Pentagon and the US state Department has developed a plan of supplying Ukraine with antitank missiles and other weapons. Approval from the White house has not yet been reported.
