Ukraine notified the United States and all other countries that all passports of the former Georgian President and ex-Governor of the Odessa region Mikhail Saakashvili revoked. On Thursday, August 3, reports “Komsomolskaya Pravda in Ukraine” with reference to an informed source.

According to the source, the situation of isolation was designed so that Ukraine has not affected the process of extradition of ex-President of Georgia. Tbilisi has declared that is ready to enter into negotiations with the USA on this issue.

On 1 August, Saakashvili said that he was going to return to Kiev. “I’m not hiding in the United States. I will definitely come back to Ukraine and I will be in court to prove their innocence,” he said.

A day earlier, the Minister of justice of Georgia tea Tsulukiani expressed the view that as soon as Saakashvili will return to Ukraine, the authorities will begin the process to extradite him at the request of Tbilisi.

26 July Poroshenko has signed the decree about deprivation of the former Governor of the Odessa region of citizenship. According to the migration service, it happened due to the fact that a politician stated in the questionnaire about the data. Namely, hiding that against him in a Georgia criminal case.
