In Portugal, the plane emergency landing on the beach
MOSCOW, 2 Jun — RIA Novosti. Two tourists died in the ensuing crash landing of a light aircraft on the beach near Lisbon, reports the associated Press, citing local authorities.
The victims are 56-year-old and 8-year — old girl at the time of the incident sunbathing on the beach of Caparica, which is located about 30 kilometers South of Lisbon.

One of the witnesses told the Portuguese TV channel SIC Noticias that before landing on the beach the plane was flying very low over sunbathers. According to witnesses, during the landing some campers ran into the water.
In the pictures shown by TV channel, it is clear that the plane was partially broken left wing. Two passengers of the plane were not injured and were questioned by police.
