UN, August 1. /TASS/. Permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzia on Tuesday held the first meeting with his American counterpart, Nikki Haley, after discussing with her the programme of work of the Security Council in August. As stated by the Russian diplomat journalists in the coming days he plans to spend time with her “substantive conversation”.
“We met this morning. We will meet more often in the coming days, weeks, years and so forth,” – said Nebenzia. According to him, during the discussion on Tuesday discussed the work of the security Council under the chairmanship of Egypt in August. “We exchanged a few words and I’ll meet you later for a substantive conversation,” he added.
