In Russia terminated the register of bloggers
Federal law No. 276-FZ cancelled the relevant provisions of the legislation.
Moscow. August 1. INTERFAX.RU — Roskomnadzor stopped the register of bloggers due to the cancellation of the relevant provisions of the legislation.
“Regulations that recognize invalid the regulation of the activities of bloggers come into force from the day of official publication of Federal law. In this regard, Roskomnadzor stopped the register of bloggers,” — said on the Agency’s website.
“However, APTLD notes that the network users, publishing the author’s content must comply with the requirements of other legislative acts concerning the collection, processing and dissemination of information”, — stated in the message.
It clarifies that the Federal law of 29.07.2017 No. 276-FZ, are hereby repealed the provisions of law relating to the regulation of bloggers.
In particular, abrogated article 10.2 of the law “On information, information technologies and protection of information” and paragraph 2 of article 1 of the Federal law from 05.05.2014 № 97-FZ “On amendments to the Federal law “On information, information technologies and about information protection” and certain legislative acts of the Russian Federation on streamlining the exchange of information using information and telecommunication networks”.
