The Ministry of economic development of Russia shall assume the functions responsible for the happiness of the Department and provide residents the opportunity for self-realization. This opinion was expressed by the Secretary General of the “United Russia”, Deputy Duma speaker Sergei Neverov, reports TASS on Monday, July 31.
“The creation of an environment in which people are able to realize their dreams and ambitions, all this should be handled by the Ministry of happiness. And we have such a role, in my opinion, should play the Ministry of economic development”, — the politician said at the all-Russian youth forum “Territory meanings.”
He was confident that happiness can be regarded as the ability to materialize their goals, and, therefore, the creation of appropriate conditions for citizens has become a kind of KPI (key performance indicator — approx. “Of the tape.ru”) for the authorities.

Last year the speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko expressed the view that the establishment of a Ministry of happiness and the future could be useful for Russia.
