Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that Vladimir Putin sanctioned the foreign Ministry statement in response to the Senate of the USA the law on toughening sanctions against Russia, Iran and North Korea.
“Of course, such measures cannot be taken without authorization by the President”, — quoted by RIA Novosti Peskov.
Earlier the MFA of Russia published on its website a statement, according to which Moscow suspends from August 1 the use of the U.S. Embassy’s dacha in Serebryany Bor, as well as all warehouse space on the Road outside.
In addition, the Russian foreign Ministry suggested Washington to reduce the number of employees of the us diplomatic mission in Russia.
