On 30 July Russia celebrated the Day of the Navy. In accordance with the decree of the President of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin “On establishing professional holidays and commemorative days in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation” dated may 31, 2006 (as amended) is celebrated in Russia on the last Sunday of July.
