The state Department ordered the evacuation of families of American diplomats from Venezuela

The U.S. state Department gave American diplomats an order to evacuate their families from Caracas, Venezuela, due to the forthcoming elections to the constituent Assembly in the country. On Thursday, July 27, according to Reuters.

In addition, the state Department has allowed, on a voluntary basis to leave Venezuela by the staff of the US diplomatic mission in Caracas.

Elections to the national constituent Assembly of Venezuela will be held on July 30.
