In Roskomnadzor said the number blocked for five years sites
In the five years of the act’s restriction of access to sites with illegal information 275 thousand Internet resources included in the register of prohibited information and is blocked. About it reported in a press-service of Roscomnadzor, TASS reports.
A large part of the pages — 97 thousand was blocked on the basis of court decision on the recognition of information as prohibited for dissemination in Russia.
As noted in the Department, basically the court has decided to lock pages in the Network due to the spread of drugs and gambling online.
To more than 70 thousand sites have been banned because of drug distribution. Was closed more than 43 thousand online casinos and illegal lotteries. Roskomnadzor blocked more than 38 million pages for child pornography, and over 25 thousand resources for incitement to suicide.
The Ministry said that a significant part of forbidden information spread in social networks. So, for five years in social networks was blocked by about 60 million pages with illegal content. Most of them, namely 48 thousand pages, was in “Vkontakte”, the smallest — 630 — in Facebook. Most of the blocked materials promoted suicide.
