The Governor of Leningrad region Alexander Drozdenko has promised to punish persons responsible for the deterioration of the investment climate in the region. It is reported 47news Thursday, July 27.
At the government meeting, the Vice-Governor on economy Dmitry Yalov said that officials do a lot for business development, but entrepreneurs relevant information is not communicated.
Drozdenko advised his Deputy to strengthen the coverage of government initiatives. The head of the region stressed that if the situation does not change, Yalova punish “morally and financially”. “To physical punishment, I hope, will not come,” he added.

On 18 April the state Duma Committee on Federal structure and local self-government recommended to reject the bill, allowing to deprive of mandates of regional members for poor performance.
Earlier this month Drozdenko urged municipal officials to perceive criticism of the population. At the end of last year, he asked area residents not to complain about his work to the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
