The Commissioner for human rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova said that would support the improvement of the law, to provide opportunities to strike, including solidarity strikes.
“We need to create the conditions for people to be able to defend their rights in all sectors of public life, including — first and foremost — labour law. You need to improve the legislation, of course, including the right to strike of the working people,” — said Moskalkova journalists during the forum “Territory meanings on the Klyazma”.
At the same time, said the Ombudsman, “it is important that people are not provoked to strike and solved problems so that people did not go on strike”.
In response to the question of whether, in its view, to allow solidarity strikes, Moskalkova noted, “would support the improvement of legislation, including the consolidated protests.”
