Germany rejected five projects related to Nord Stream 2

The Federal network Agency of Germany has decided not to include in the plan of development of gas networks five projects related to Nord Stream 2.

“Five associated with the expansion of the Nord Stream project, estimated at a network Agency, is still too unreliable. These should be taken in the development plan of gas networks unless given permission for extension of Nord Stream 2”, — reported on the website of the regulator.

The Nord Stream project 2 involves the construction of two pipelines with a total capacity of 55 billion cubic meters of gas per year from the coast of Russia through the Baltic sea to Germany. In June, Russia first expressed unwillingness to negotiate with the European Commission on the application of the draft energoekonomichnostju of the European Union.
