Medvedev called “a fantastic tragicomedy” the situation with citizenship Saakashvili

MOSCOW, July 26. /TASS/. Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev called the situation with the deprivation of Ukrainian citizenship to ex-President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili “a fantastic tragicomedy” evidencing “moral qualities” of its members. Post on this topic the head of the Russian government has published on his page in Facebook.

“The fate of Saakashvili, the Georgian citizen, the President of Georgia, a person deprived of citizenship of Georgia a citizen of Ukraine, each Ukrainian President, the Governor of Odessa region, persons deprived of citizenship of Ukraine”, – said the head of the Russian Cabinet. “An amazing sequence of the Ukrainian authorities to take the former President of Georgia, citizenship of Ukraine, to make him a Governor, to revoke the citizenship of Ukraine and to agree to his extradition to Georgia. All this is the indisputable evidence of the highest moral qualities of the two people who cast this fantastic tragicomedy”, – concluded Medvedev.
