The President of the United States Donald trump accused the Washington Post in the publication of false information. This follows from his messages on Twitter.
“Owned by Amazon, the Washington Post fabricated facts about the end of the huge, dangerous and costly program of assistance to the Syrian rebels fighting [Syrian President Bashar] Assad,” wrote trump. According to the American leader, the WP publishes a lot of false stories about him and she is no better than “sags in the ratings” by CNN.
“Do lunavista Washington Post — guns in the hands of lobbyists in Congress, used in order not to allow politicians to pay attention to tax-free the monopoly company Amazon?” asked the American President.
The correspondent WP Adam ENT policy said on Twitter: “I do Not quite understand the criticism of Donald trump. Our material has been devoted to its decision to stop supporting fighting with Assad rebels.”
On July 19 the Washington Post published an article in which it was told about the termination of the program of Washington’s support for the armed Syrian opposition. The article said that this decision is a big concession to Russia, which considered the program a threat to its interests in the region.
