The head of the press service of the White house made a mistake in the trump position on sanctions against Russia

Anthony’s Scaramucci

The new head of the press service of the White house, Anthony’s Scaramucci said that was wrong in stating the position of President of the United States Donald trump on the question of new anti-Russian sanctions. It is reported by The New York Times (NYT).

Scaramucci, speaking in a television programme, said that trump has not decided whether to sign a new law on restrictions against Russia.

In this July 23, the press-Secretary of the administration of U.S. President Sarah Sanders argued that Washington endorses the bill to the new restrictions. “We weren’t happy with the previous version of the bill, but we have made the necessary amendments”, — she answered to the question whether the sign trump the bill.

NYT journalists appealed to Scaramucci asking which of the two statements true. “My mistake. Follow what says Sarah [Sanders], for me this is new information,” — said in a written reply, the new head of the press service.

Previously on 24 July it was reported that European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker will call urgently to discuss the possible response of Brussels, if EU interests are not taken into account in making Washington a new package of anti-Russian sanctions. He believes that the restrictions can affect the area of interest associated with Moscow, European energy companies. In particular, the threat hanging over the companies involved in the construction of additional submarine pipelines between Russia and Germany in the framework of the project “Northern stream-2”.

Anthony’s Scaramucci appointed Director of public relations White house on July 21. Press Secretary of the President of the United States trump Sean Spicer in protest against this decision, resigned.
