Media reports have suggested the cause of death of the first Soviet millionaire

Artem Tarasov, the first Soviet millionaire, presumably, died from pneumonia. As told to “the Russian newspaper” friend of the businessman, he tried to cope with the disease.

According to the interlocutor of the edition, he was on Sunday brought the 67-year-old Tarasov home cure for pneumonia and found the owner dead. The family of the deceased had earlier said that he will inform about the cause of death and the place of farewell Monday, July 24.

One of the pioneers of cooperative during perestroika in the USSR in the late 1980-ies, businessman Artem Tarasov in 1989 became Vice-President of the Union of United cooperatives of the USSR, and in 1990 — people’s Deputy of RSFSR.

In recent years he ran the “Institute of innovation” and venture company “Navicom”. In September 2016 was put forward in deputies of the state Duma from party “the Apple”. Tarasov was a candidate of technical Sciences and academician of the international Academy at the Consulate General of the United Nations.
