Parliamentary hearings on important bills, with the participation of citizens should be carried out on a systematic basis. This was stated on Friday by the speaker of the state Duma Vyacheslav Volodin, speaking on the results of the spring session of the lower house of Parliament.
“It would be correct to make the system parliamentary hearings before the second reading on the most socially significant initiatives, as it was under the consideration of the law on renovation, real estate investors”, – he said.
The speaker believes that on key issues the Council has reached a new format of discussion. “[It is] Large parliamentary hearing with the direct participation of the citizens”, – said Volodin .
“Our voters are interested in direct communication. We must be ready for such a dialogue,” concluded the speaker.
